LIBRA

In this series I hope to reveal light in the darkness of being. The pictures explore the mystery of life and time passing. There is little beyond the everyday, the ordinary drama of things, though what is revealed often captures a theatre of remnants, markings and subtle remains found in both the human and natural worlds.

Rather than being about a specific subject, the pictures have more to do with expressing a sense of the ineffable language of seeing, at times more felt than understood. I have never wanted them to be more or less than everything. They are a reflection on getting older, burying parents, and coming to recognize that what is simple and ephemeral can be profound.
